Experience with solid background of success

Leaving a promising job with a solid career path and moving into another country is not an easy decision to make. But some people are born with a sense of exploration and adventure – I happen to be one of those.
Birth of Shalifex
2020
What motivated me to start Shalifax was the fact that most of the times companies do not exploit the full potential of their internal and external business environment because their work force is occupied with day to day operations and have little time to collect, screen and analyse the information and make it useful insights in order to make decisions.
With 16 years of experience in business analysis, development and product management, I aim to help companies maximise their capabilities to achieve the desired results.

Optronic i Norden (Sweden)
Business Development & Marketing Manager – Optical Sensors, Opto-electronics, Time of Flight cameras
2013 – 2016
The task was to expand the business beyond the geographical boundaries of Nordic region into Europe and partly into North America. It was extremely challenging as the company I worked for was not a known brand in EU. I had to plan my strategies carefully to approach and acquire new customers within as short time period as I can so that the revenue can be generated. Here I worked with in a broad range of industries, knowing all the tits and bits of those.
Panasonic Electric Works Europe AG (Germany)
Product Marketing Manager – Semi-conductor Sensors & 3D Time of Flight cameras
2009 – 2013
I had already been working for 3D ToF cameras when an internal vacancy was available and luckily I was accepted. The portfolio was just great and I enjoyed having all those products. PIR sensors, Light sensors, Thermal Array sensors, Pressure sensors, Accelerometers were a few products among other in the portfolio of semi-conductor sensors. In order to increase sales, I worked on 2 strategies. pricing & new market segments.
The best knowledge is out in the market and not inside cosy offices – so I travelled a lot with our sales members across Europe. I pointed out new applications within new markets and approached those companies. It paid off well and within a short time the sales started an upward hike.
In 2009, I was asked for business research and development for TOF cameras – a pioneer 3D technology. At that time it was such an innovation that helped me knock doors of so many companies within various industries. Automotive, Logistics (Material Handling), Digital Signage, Consumer Electronics, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Medical are some examples among many. Well it will take me hours to tell about what I had done for TOF technology so let’s skip this part and save some time.
Panasonic Electric Works Europe AG (Germany)
Product Marketing Manager – Lighting Products
2004 – 2009
Extremely challenging and interesting because the Lighting BU was in red figures and a last and final chance was taken to see if it could be turned around. After gaining quick industry knowledge, introduced some new products, accessories, added more sales channels and aggressive marketing helped turning the BU over in black figures in just 1 and a half year.

The list of my customers include some of countries biggest retail brands. I also assisted customers in some of the creative work in designing the new packaging.
